Discover Sorsogon
Siama is a great starting point to explore Sorsogon's diverse and lush nature attractions. We can help you put together an itinerary or even arrange trips for you. Most of these places are within an hour or two by land from the hotel.
Gubat
Surf, swim, and chill at Gubat. This long cove of Pacific Ocean enjoys lesser crowds than your usual beach destination. There are snorkeling and dive spots too. Enjoy a simple beach day here, just a 30 minute drive from Siama Hotel.
Paguriran, Bacon
Paguriran Island Lagoon in Bacon, Sorsogon is perfect for a scenic swimming session. This enchanting rock formation is not too far a walk from the main beach, easily accessible during low to mid tide and, for the adventurous traveler, swimmable during high tide. Paguriran Island Lagoon is a 35 minute drive from Siama Hotel.
Bulusan Lake
Bulusan Volcano Natural Park is a protected area at the foot of Bulusan Volcano. Its lush scenery is breathtaking and is home to many endemic plants and animals, including a variety of birds. You can enjoy kayaking, stand-up paddling, boating, and other seasonal activities in the lake and park. Bulusan Lake is a 1 hour drive from Siama Hotel.
Donsol
Bond with whalesharks—locally known as butanding—in the wild. Here, whalesharks aren’t fed, as they are naturally migratory species. A pioneer in responsible eco-tourism, Donsol ensures the butandings are well cared for and can exist naturally in their habitat. As such, sightings are not guaranteed, and that’s exactly what makes the experience special. Donsol is a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Siama Hotel.
Matnog
Visit pink sand beaches of Matnog, like Subic Beach. The seasonal pink color comes from grains of red quartz. On the way to the beach, you can also see and swim with different varieties of fish at Juag Fish Sanctuary. Matnog is a 1 hour drive from Siama Hotel and from there, you’ll board a boat tour.
Sorsogon City
Learn about the province’s rich history at Museo Sorsogon. Enjoy the presko probinsya life at the Rompeolas, with street food stalls lining the pier at sunset.
